Founded by Zachary Davis almost 30 years ago, Green Five Design is a residential design firm based in the Phoenix metropolitan area, specializing in custom home design, renovations, architectural drafting, 3D visualization, and design consulting.With nearly three decades of experience and more than 800 completed projects, Green Five Design brings creativity, technical expertise, and practical construction knowledge to every project.

Meet Zachary Davis

Zachary’s passion for residential design began in 1989, when he first studied design and drafting in high school. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from Arizona State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Design for Architecture.

Throughout his career, Zachary has designed more than 800 residential projects, ranging from small, 100-square-foot renovations to luxury estates exceeding 30,000 square feet. His work extends throughout Arizona, including nearly every municipality in the Phoenix metropolitan area, as well as projects in California, New York, and Canada.

What distinguishes Zachary’s approach is his extensive hands-on construction experience. Having personally completed several of his own construction projects, he understands the building process from both the designer’s and builder’s perspectives. His practical experience spans sitework, masonry, concrete, framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, drywall, and interior finishes.  This combination of architectural education, design expertise, and firsthand construction knowledge allows Zachary to develop creative solutions that are not only visually compelling but also practical, efficient, and buildable.
